Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) is a multi arts centre located in Jaipur in India. It was built by Rajasthan government with the purpose of preserving Rajasthani arts and crafts. The centre has been made in eight blocks housing museums, one amphi theatre and the other closed auditorium, library, arts display rooms, cafeteria, small hostel and art-studio. It also houses two permanent art galleries and three other galleries. and host its own theatre festival each year.

The plan was prepared by the noted architect Charles Correa in 1986 and the building was ready in 1991.[1] The plan is inspired by the original city plan of Jaipur, consisting of nine squares with central square left open.[2]
Rangayan, Krishnayan, Open Theatre, are few of the many theatres housed in JKK.
A play directed by legendary theatre personality Bharat Ratna Bhargava and performed on stage by Children. The artists included Kapil Gaur, Somya Shukla.
During summer vacations JKK organises hobby classes for young children in the age group of 8-18 years. The faculties include theatre, music, dance, painting, etc. In theatre group Babita Madan directed Shastra Dekho Shastra. The theatre artists included Kapil Gaur, Somya Shukla.
JKK staged i will not cry an exceptional blend of theatre and multimedia, highlighting the issue of child survival through satire, reality and music excerpts. The play brings alive the sad truth of millions of unnecessary deaths of children in the world particular in India. The performance by Lushin Dubey evokes collective responsibility among the audience to be a part of Save the Children campaign. The play is conceived, scripted for stage and directed by Arvind Gaur. Well known theatre personalities of Jaipur Hemant Acharaya, and Sandeep Madan provided vital support.
